Generally mind does 'like' patterns 'only'

Yesterday, my friend was watching some movie. I just went to his room and did see some action packed shots, during those shots my very focus was on very fast moving shots and a little bit focus on actors. When the thrill completes and the focus comes on the actors in a slow scene, I did notice the Hero and Heroin, and I felt that I was not very much liking them, I felt that how/why can they be the actors in this movie. I even did not know what kind of movie it was, what was the theme, probably they were the best suited actors for the script. 

Why so, I had a particular kind of image of the 'The Hero' and 'The Heroin', and anything which is below that pattern, mind just tries to discards and tries to question it, and if something is more than that pattern, it tries to appreciate it. 

Why so, the mind is bounded by certain patterns created by some kind of past experiences, it does not believe OR not let us believe in the present reality, it just keeps on matching the patterns and keeps giving it's verdicts.

It is very important to understand this kind of behavior of ones own mind and try developing such kind of faculty so one mere does not react by the pattern based results of mind but can realize the 'exact', what is in reality and how is it impacting one.

If I write something more, it will be more related to human consciousness so I will extend the though somewhere else!!!

Mind behaviour in sound mapping

Today, I got a phone call from one of my school time friend, almost after 10 Years.

He said, "I am Surrender calling from 'my school name'". As soon as he said those words I started to search for the voice which was mapping to the image of of Surrender, of my school. Initially the voice was a bit different, but, as soon as the voice matched, I was only hearing the same voice of old time Surrender.
And, somehow, I was able to 'know' this kind of thing is going on within me!!!

During the whole conversation, I was hearing the same old time voice, not the new changed voice, though it was the truth of the moment.

And now, after conversation too, I only remember the old Surrender's voice, not his changed voice!!!
